An EXTRAORDINARY MEETING of the AWARDS, GRANTS AND TRANSPORT (APPEALS) COMMITTEE was held at the CIVIC OFFICE, DONCASTER on THURSDAY, 12TH DECEMBER, 2013 at 2.00 P.M.

 

PRESENT:

 

Chair – Councillor Susan Bolton

 

Councillors Tracey Leyland-Jepson, Sue McGuinness and Martin Williams.

 

APOLOGIES

 

An apology for absence was received from the Vice-Chair, Councillor Sandra Holland.

 

13.       DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

 

There were no declarations made at the meeting.

 

14.       MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 22ND OCTOBER, 2013  

 

            RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on 22nd October, 2013, be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

 

15.       EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC AND PRESS

 

            RESOLVED that the public and press be excluded from the meeting in accordance with Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972, as amended, on the grounds that exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12(A) of the Act, was likely to be disclosed.

 

16.      APPLICATIONS FOR TRANSPORT ASSISTANCE

 

The Committee considered Appeals in relation to transport assistance.

 

              RESOLVED that

 

4. (a)   Application Case No. 1179, be refused.

 

(b)   Application Case No. 1180, be refused.

 

(c)   Application Case No. 1181, be refused.

(d)   Application Case No. 1182, be refused.

 

(e)   Application Case No. 1183, be refused.

 

(f)    Application Case No. 1184, be refused.

 

(g)   Application Case No. 1185, be deferred to the next meeting of the Committee, pending further information being obtained.
